We raised our family in the Midwest and discovered Madison County in 2006. We moved here in 2012 and built a home in the Big Pine community.
I am a co-founder of two non-profits in the County, Madison has Heart, raising money for heating assistance, and Sustainable Madison, an environmental organization.
I co-host a show on WART-FM, our local Arts Council radio station, called Community Conversation that focuses on volunteerism in the County.
My background in broadcasting and fundraising helps to foster my strong support for education. I believe that children are our future and I hope I can help to empower Madison County youth.
I love to paddle the French Broad River, garden, hike, read, drink coffee and enjoy nature with my spouse and our two German shepherds, River and Rain.
